It’s been a full and busy week. I feel spent and so ready to sink into this Saturday (even if it does involve catering for the first wedding of the season this evening). Lately, I’ve been feeling ready to shake off winter. I’ve been lured away from the security of my cocoon by images of spring. I’m excited by the prospect of reawakening and renewal. By thoughts of garden sketches and tiny seedlings. Of tea outside, soil on my hands and the chance to create a retreat filled with the softest of colours and heady fragrance. Are you ready for change? Ah, magnolia blossoms. I can barely wait . . .
Happy weekending, friends!

Such lovely dreaming things.
It’s been so dark and dreary and BUCKETING rain, so I too am doing some dreaming.
Planning my winter garden (because we’re heading into Autumn) and looking for ways to simplify and clear out and make things more open and peaceful.
Simplifying and clearing out sounds just right to me … I can imagine how peaceful your land must be!
such beautiful photos…and yes..oh yes..I need spring!
Thank you, Jen! Spring and Autumn (like bookends) are my favourite seasons. I hear you!
