Good Monday morning, friends. It’s a holiday weekend round here and we are slowly, happily moving into the day. Number One is on her way into town for a b-day visit. A pot of chili and cheese biscuits are on the go, and at her request, we’re hitting the lanes for a (no doubt crazy-charged) family bowlathon. This girl is the reigning Queen of the Lanes . . . uh oh!
And this is me, fortifying with tea. The tulips are from a friend who tossed a bouquet to me across a thigh-deep snow bank last weekend, before the driveway was dug out. I’m savouring the last blooms!
I hope your day is simply splendid . . .

Written yesterday by a fellow blogger who is obviously on a joy journey of her own. Morning tea. Fresh cut tulips. A beautiful teapot. All sounds joyous to me!
