that friday feeling

Thanks to my ever-prepared friend Ursula (the kind of woman with power tools for every job) I have a sander that will hit the surface of my drafting table this weekend. Creative project number one will officially be checked off my list of things to begin. I can’t tell you how much I’m anticipating breathing some new life into this beauty! Brushes, pens and pencils are ready for their new home. We’re also doing a road trip to Toronto tomorrow: food, fun and frolic. And bringing a camera along, of course, to capture our misbehaviour and pretty little things.

I hope the weekend has something wonderful in store for you!

  1. Ooooooh, I am excited for this drafting table revamp. Post the result whenever the sawdust is off your hands!
Also, I don’t know if I’ve been cooped up in Google Reader, but I love, love, love the new (?) look. Really makes your photos stand out. Nice work!

    • Yeah … sawdust … Whoever thought Canadian winter was the best time to refinish a table?! Ha! Without any decent indoor space, I’m taking my beauty outside soon to give ‘er and let the sawdust really fly. I do the same with Google Reader, but it’s true—visually speaking, you miss a lot. This is a new look, and I love it for the same reason! Thanks, Katie!
