I took a walk, along with Number Two, to my favourite waterfront spot in town. With only a trace of sun and the wind biting, coffee and chai were the best hand warmers. The café is closed now for winter’s approach, and there’s a bit of a lonely feeling to the landscape. What thrilled me was the discovery of some graffiti knitting around the trees—and one lovely bit hiding beneath a picnic table nestled in its legs. A couple I’d seen before, but finding the others was like discovering easter eggs, each more thrilling than the one before.
Enjoy what remains of your weekends, friends. I’m excited for some plans in progress on this sun-filled day! I’ll take each and every one that comes our way and walk the heck out of it.

I’ve never seen ‘graffiti knitting’ before! It makes me smile. Though I remember when I tried to crochet fencing for our garden (yes, really!) and the colours ran when it rained and I felt awful for anything natural that might’ve been affected by any artificial colours from the yarns!
I have a friend who grafittis like this. It’s great seeing colour and the unusual everywhere.
Beautiful photos. I love the leaves in the boat of the statue.
