I’m emerging slowly, happily from a food hangover . . . Just in time to loosen the apron a notch and cook for restaurant patrons tonight.
Thanksgiving was all that it should have been: a table groaning with a wild array of seasonal goodies, and a house filled with laughter, and great company. And a couch . . . and plenty of pillows . . . and piping hot cups of tea . . . and my feet pointing skyward on top of those pillows at the end of it. Oh, and who could forget? Leftovers for the next two days!
Which brings me to today’s collection of photos from Jackie Rueda, who not only deserves the shiniest of gold stars for my favourite autumn-apple still life, but an entire packet of those sweet little gems, for hosting over 30 people at her Thanksgiving gathering. Whew, stars all around, Jackie!
